I talk to people all the time about losing weight and
getting in shape and they always want to know how to get a body like
the superstars they see on TV. Most of them think that there is some
special formula required to get in that kind of shape and they expect
me to say that it will cost them thousands of dollars to hire a
personal trainer and learn these special techniques. Although it is
true that there is a special system that is able to get people in shape
with very little time spent, you don't have to spend a lot of money to
find out how to do it.
The first thing that people need to
understand is that just spending time in the gym or working out does
not mean that you are going to see gains. In fact, you could spend an
hour a day in the gym, but that doesn't mean it will equate to a slim
and trim body. You see, the trick is not in quantity of time spent
working out, but quality of time spent working out. You can get a
workout in 20 minutes that would be better than a 2 hour workout in the
gym, simply by upping the intensity. My favorite principle is to use
short 1 minute workouts at 100% intensity, which forces your body to
learn to adapt to extreme circumstances. This is how I help the stars
lose their guts and look like supermodels.
If you want to lose weight and get in shape, you are going to have to sweat and feel the burn. You will need to force your body towards exhaustion, but it doesn't have to be boring or painful. Who doesn't have 20 minutes per day to workout? Even if I gave you the most difficult workout in the world, if you only had to do it for 20 minute, I am betting that you could find the strength to get through. When you've only got 20 minutes at risk, what is the harm in going all out?
When your body is forced to adapt to your intense workouts, it starts to ramp up your metabolism, which helps clean your body of toxins and fat. Your body starts running more efficiently, which provides you with increased energy and strength.
Body boot camps use these principles to help people turn their overweight and out of shape bodies into stunning lean and trim shapes. Once you have helped your body switch on the fat burning and muscle building processes, the rest just takes care of itself. The techniques are not unique and they are not complicated, but they have to be applied. This is the same method that the Hollywood stars use to get in shape and it is the same method that you can use to look like a supermodel. Try trading quantity for quality of workout and see how it works for you. I bet you will be pleasantly surprised.
